Lastly even though we only used two of the four bedrooms the mattress was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to accommodate even the pickiest of sleepers! There’s a Waffle House maybe 5 minutes away, bourbon street is a good 30-40min. I literally sat on the balcony and watched the birds catch fish. I would absolutely recommend 👍🏽

The home was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals at home, no one ever ran out of hot water, and we especially liked the heaters in the bathrooms. The pool and deck area are gorgeous, and so tranquil just to sit out there and enjoy some time outside (unfortunately it was a little chilly during our stay, so we opted not to use the pool, but we so wanted to!). There was plenty of room, inside and out, to spend lots of time together, but also plenty of opportunity to have our own space and downtime apart from the rest of the group. We loved the location of this home too, because we had easy access to New Orleans/French Quarter, Airport, but also Slidell, the local swamps/lakes/bayous, as well as Mississippi and its beautiful white sandy beaches.
As far as other reviews had mentioned: we had zero issues with any neighbors (or signs), and the driveway was no issue for a full-size SUV nor a sedan.
I would highly recommend this home away from home, and would love to visit again someday!
