The only other side note I will offer is that if you are traveling with a walker it will not fit through the bathroom doors. Quick boat ride to the new Blue Crab and Phil’s Marina Cafe- two favorites in Slidell. Beds are comfortable with great, clean and soft bedding. Decor is lovely. Kitchen well stocked with cups, plates, etc.

We had a total of 8... read more guests during our stay and we couldn’t have asked for a better retreat. The home was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals at home, no one ever ran out of hot water, and we especially liked the heaters in the bathrooms. The pool and deck area are gorgeous, and so tranquil just to sit out there and enjoy some time outside (unfortunately it was a little chilly during our stay, so we opted not to use the pool, but we so wanted to!). There was plenty of room, inside and out, to spend lots of time together, but also plenty of opportunity to have our own space and downtime apart from the rest of the group. We loved the location of this home too, because we had easy access to New Orleans/French Quarter, Airport, but also Slidell, the local swamps/lakes/bayous, as well as Mississippi and its beautiful white sandy beaches.
As far as other reviews had mentioned: we had zero issues with any neighbors (or signs), and the driveway was no issue for a full-size SUV nor a sedan.
I would highly recommend this home away from home, and would love to visit again someday!
