Lisa's home is beautiful. She is a great host and everything is as described. My whole family had a great time and worked perfect for all 14 of us.

We enjoyed the patio every morning and evening and appreciated the quietness of the neighborhood. The boys loved fishing off of the pier. Being able to rent a pontoon right from the house was very convenient.

We had a total of 8... read more guests during our stay and we couldn’t have asked for a better retreat. The home was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals at home, no one ever ran out of hot water, and we especially liked the heaters in the bathrooms. The pool and deck area are gorgeous, and so tranquil just to sit out there and enjoy some time outside (unfortunately it was a little chilly during our stay, so we opted not to use the pool, but we so wanted to!). There was plenty of room, inside and out, to spend lots of time together, but also plenty of opportunity to have our own space and downtime apart from the rest of the group. We loved the location of this home too, because we had easy access to New Orleans/French Quarter, Airport, but also Slidell, the local swamps/lakes/bayous, as well as Mississippi and its beautiful white sandy beaches.
As far as other reviews had mentioned: we had zero issues with any neighbors (or signs), and the driveway was no issue for a full-size SUV nor a sedan.
I would highly recommend this home away from home, and would love to visit again someday!

It looked exactly like the photos on... read more the listing but those photos do not do it justice. The only way for you to know, is to book this place immediately. Everything was super clean and nicely organized for when we got there. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Whenever I needed help, Lisa was super responsive and was happy to help. The pool was very nice and clean. A pool cleaner does come by every Friday to clean it from leaves and makes sure everything is in proper order. The view from the private dock was amazing too. Sunset and sunrise, the view was great! All in all this place was amazing and I really recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and private stay.
