  Our experience was a bad one, partly because of the condition of the property, but mostly because of the disrespectful treatment we received from Lisa. In total, we experienced a... read more number of malfunctions that can happen and are not the host's fault, the problem was Lisa's response to the problems we encountered. At first there were several things missing and there was a malfunction with the air conditioner, the initial response was that we don't know how to search properly, after that there really isn't a problem, and even after she sent professionals (who didn't solve the problem) she still continued to say there were no problems. Only after three days and a lot of anger on our part did she produce solutions to the problems. It's a shame, the house is located in a very beautiful place, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.

  The house was very clean and well kept. It is in a beautiful setting by the water. We spent a lot time outside on the deck and checked out nearby... read more restaurants. It’s about 1/2 hour drive to the French Quarter and so we went into the city most days.

  Great communication and service. Any issues we had Lisa took no time in responding and getting her time out to assess it. I would recommend this location to anyone.

The neighbors signs were a nice conversation piece but not to worry we never saw them for them to be rude.... read more The kitchen sink has a hot water button for making cocoa or sanitizing pacifiers so that was amazing!!!! Watch out for the steep driveway you need to take it at an angle for sure! Great place we would book again gladly!

  Very nice place to stay; right on the water! Close to restaurants and shops; only 25 minutes from New Orleans. Was very responsive to any concerns or questions. Would recommend!

Roses:
1. Loved the laminated checkout guidelines that were easy to find and follow.
2. Loved the decor.
3. Loved the patio design and generous outdoor seating.
4. Good entertainment options and apps on the smart TVs.
5. Overall great location. Excellent access to highway.
6. Appreciate that there were multiple games for guests to choose from.
7. Well equipped kitchen for guests who are serious about cooking dishes like gumbo.
8. Loved the laundry and that there was a mop sink.
9. Not many fish in the waterway, but having a fishing pole was a nice touch (smile :)
10. Would absolutely book again in the future, and recommend it to family and friends.

Thorns:
1. Light in upstairs bedroom closet.
2. Garbage disposal is essential and needed in kitchen where there will be lots of cooking
3. Toilet paper holder in upstairs bathroom was loose.
4. Reverse one of the bunk beds such that the ladders do not face each other. The current configuration forces use of only one ladder at a time which makes it tough for guests when that room is fully occupied.

  All is good.

We had someone sleeping in the family room and it was very bright in the morning. The kayak was fun. Everyone loved fishing! We swam in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful view off the deck. Great location to be outside of new orleans yet close enough to head in to do things. Other amenities were close by. Great location!
