Watch out for the steep driveway you need to take it at an angle for sure! Great place we would book again gladly!

  Lisa's place is a lovely home on a waterway that leads to Lake Ponchatrain. The neighborhood is very quiet and the view of the sunset from the dock was gorgeous.... read more I stayed there for a long weekend with my parents and my four brothers. We each had a room and everyon had plenty of space. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the mornings and evenings.

We had someone sleeping in the family room and it was very bright in the morning. The kayak was fun. Everyone loved fishing! We swam in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful view off the deck. Great location to be outside of new orleans yet close enough to head in to do things. Other amenities were close by. Great location!

It looked exactly like the photos on... read more the listing but those photos do not do it justice. The only way for you to know, is to book this place immediately. Everything was super clean and nicely organized for when we got there. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Whenever I needed help, Lisa was super responsive and was happy to help. The pool was very nice and clean. A pool cleaner does come by every Friday to clean it from leaves and makes sure everything is in proper order. The view from the private dock was amazing too. Sunset and sunrise, the view was great! All in all this place was amazing and I really recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and private stay.

We enjoyed the patio every morning and evening and appreciated the quietness of the neighborhood. The boys loved fishing off of the pier. Being able to rent a pontoon right from the house was very convenient.

Lisa was very communicative and easy to contact with questions.

  This place is perfect! It was so good to be near NOLA but not in the crazy of it all. We toured all day and came back here to quiet... read more and relaxation. This place is quiet, comfortable and clean. I would stay here again. Lisa is great with communication as well. It take about 25-30 mins to get to NOLA from here for those wondering.

The only other side note I will offer is that if you are traveling with a walker it will not fit through the bathroom doors. My father is law managed just fine but someone who is 100 depended on this may want to skip this booking. Again this is just info not a judgement on the property at all. It's a great place!!!

We had a good trip. Would recommend this home to all with large partys .
