There’s a Waffle House maybe 5 minutes away, bourbon street is a good 30-40min. I literally sat on the balcony and watched the birds catch fish. I would absolutely recommend 👍🏽

Watch out for the steep driveway you need to take it at an angle for sure! Great place we would book again gladly!

We had someone sleeping in the family room and it was very bright in the morning. The kayak was fun. Everyone loved fishing! We swam in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful view off the deck. Great location to be outside of new orleans yet close enough to head in to do things. Other amenities were close by. Great location!

Didn’t need to reach out to her often but the few times I did she responded quickly and was so friendly! There were 9 of us and it was perfect for adults and kids alike! Can’t wait to go back!! We had a work trip and stayed here four nights, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and all the rooms had stylish decor. ... read more Bathrooms well stocked and water pressure was amazing! Lastly even though we only used two of the four bedrooms the mattress was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to accommodate even the pickiest of sleepers! We would definitely stay here again.

    There are bugs but host said it was the south. Maybe so.

The Blind Tiger was one of our favorite spots to eat and enjoy. The drive between Slidell & New Orleans was a simple commute and gave us quiet from the busy of downtown. Thank you for helping create a special memory. We enjoyed sitting in the waterside deck watching fish jump & listening to the birds chirp. The house was immaculate and hospitable.
